Controlled Substance Policy
Psychiatric NP’s are restricted to 30- day supply of controlled substance prescriptions per fill in Illinois. Further, Kalayil Psychiatry does not practice prescribing long-term use of benzodiazepines or hypnotics. Refills for controlled substance medications require an appointment with exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
